- PC hardware and performance: disclose the exact device, firmware, driver, operating system, game or workload build, settings, capture method, sample size, test conditions, and meaningful limitations.
- Reviews: disclose purchase, loan, gift, sponsorship, affiliate, friendship, or other material connection. A product is never called tested without documented hands-on evidence.
- Company claims: attribute specifications, forecasts, demonstrations, and benchmarks to the company until independent evidence verifies them.
- AI and software: name the exact version or access date, distinguish a demonstration from general capability, inspect privacy and security boundaries, and never invent prompts, outputs, costs, or testing.
- Leaks and rumors: report only when there is a clear public-interest reason. Do not host stolen builds, private data, credentials, unsafe archives, or material whose main value is harm or spoiler amplification.
- Security vulnerabilities: prioritize reader protection, coordinate disclosure when appropriate, avoid weaponized detail before mitigation, and link the vendor, CERT/CC, CISA, CVE, or other authoritative record when available.
