# Tech Life Hybrid Jarvis — commands and live information

Updated September 18, 2026.

Enable automatic conversation in Voice settings to start listening when the app opens. This preference is off for new customer profiles. Allow microphone access if prompted, then speak naturally and ask follow-up questions without pressing Speak again. End conversation or Escape turns the microphone off. Gemini Live requires your own Google connection, internet access and available provider quota.

## Try these commands

- “List apps” — discovers applications registered in the Windows Start menu. “Open EXACT APP NAME” requests Windows to launch a discovered app; ambiguous names need clarification.
- “Read webpage https://example.com” — reads a public HTML/text source, without signing in or executing webpage instructions.
- “Create file draft.md with TEXT” — creates a new file in the local creations folder, with approval in live voice. It never overwrites, executes or publishes the file.

- “What time is it?” / “What is the date today?” / “Time zone” — reads your computer clock at the time of the request, including its local time zone.
- “Check my PC” — reads current available RAM and uptime.
- “Morning briefing” — checks tasks, connected projects, PC state and website response.
- “List projects” / “Search projects for browser” — uses folders you connected.
- “Show notes” / “Recall TOPIC” — searches your saved information.
- “Remember: my idea” / “Add task: review the site” / “Remind me in 20 minutes to take a break” — proposes changes for on-screen approval during Live voice.
- “Show tasks” — lists saved tasks and reminders.
- “Research TOPIC” — retrieves public search snippets and source links with a fallback provider and a basic relevance check. Retrieval time is not the publication date; snippets are not a verified live feed.
- “Check my website” — checks TechLifeHybrid.com reachability, not private analytics.
- “Open calculator” / “Open notepad” / “Open explorer” / “Open task manager” — proposes an allowed Windows launch.
- “Check my email” — requires a separate Gmail connection and approval.
- “Download https://example.com/file” — proposes a public HTTPS download, limited to 100 MB; it does not execute the file.

## What real-time means

Time and PC status are read when requested. The clock uses Windows settings, including daylight-saving changes. If Windows itself has the wrong clock or time zone, correct those settings in Windows Date & time. Jarvis does not continuously synchronize every account or guarantee instant news, weather or market data. A failed or undated lookup must be described as unverified, not guessed.

Customer profiles start empty. The owner’s private command center, credentials, projects and memories are not included. This is a Windows application, not a replacement operating system. Public download hosting, code signing and Microsoft Store release are not yet verified.
