WINDOWS PC // MEASURE BEFORE CHANGING

Find the cause. Prove the fix.

Frame Truth works best as a controlled experiment: one repeatable route, three baseline captures, one change, three comparison captures, and a decision supported by evidence.

01

Download and extract

Download the Windows ZIP only from TechLifeHybrid.com, verify its SHA-256 checksum, and extract the complete folder before opening FrameTruth.exe.

02

Measure the PC

Run PC audit now for a timestamped snapshot. Start Live memory only when you want two-second physical-memory samples; stop it when finished.

03

Prepare one route

Install PresentMon only from Intel or GameTechDev. Choose its authentic Intel-signed console executable, warm the game, and define one repeatable 60–90 second route.

04

Capture three baselines

Keep route, settings, resolution, game state, and background applications consistent. Label three real captures Baseline.

05

Change one variable

Preview supported actions, preserve the backup, or make one documented manual change. Never combine unrelated tweaks in one comparison.

06

Capture three comparisons

Repeat the same route three times and label them Comparison. Fewer than three runs per group remains provisional.

07

Read the evidence

Review P99 frame time and hitch count together. Average FPS alone cannot establish smoothness, and correlation does not prove a hardware fault.

08

Keep or restore

Keep only a repeatable improvement. Restore the backup when evidence does not improve or another problem appears.

What the numbers mean

  • Live memory: actively refreshed physical-memory samples with a visible sample time.
  • Audit: a past-tense snapshot captured at the displayed time.
  • Average FPS: total throughput; it can hide individual long frames.
  • P99 frame time: 99 percent of measured frames were at or below this duration.
  • Hitches: frames crossing Frame Truth's documented conservative threshold.
  • Provisional: the complete three-baseline/three-comparison requirement has not been met.

What Frame Truth does not claim

It does not guarantee more FPS, repair hardware, monitor unsupported telemetry, tune BIOS, update drivers, replace anti-malware, or diagnose a component from one checkbox. CPU/GPU temperatures, clocks, FPS, and latency remain unavailable unless a validated data source supplies them.

If something goes wrong

  • Keep the extracted app folder together and confirm Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed.
  • If Windows warns about the unsigned beta, verify that it came from TechLifeHybrid.com and compare the published checksum.
  • If PresentMon is rejected, choose the authentic Intel-signed console executable.
  • If a capture fails, confirm it contains a supported frame-time column and at least ten valid frames.
  • If live memory stops, press Start again; Frame Truth shows errors instead of silently reusing an old value.
